Hello whoever may read this blog!

I’d like to start out by saying this will probably be one of the most random, unorganized blogs you will ever read. I’m here to cure my boredom, so get ready.

I’ll be posting things like:

  • What movies I’m watching
  • Comic books I’m reading
  • Music I’m listening too
  • Things I do during the day
  • And anything else I might feel the need to share

I’m going to try to keep it to one post a day but I can’t guarantee anything. Like I said, I’m random.

I’d like to use this first post to introduce my constant companion. My little buddy that keeps me company when my wife is at work, my little man is sleeping or at school, or any other time I might be at the house by myself.

Here she is, our dog Athena! (aka Miss Pickles)

She is a tiny mix-breed that consist of Chihuahua, Pug, and Weenie Dog.

Anyway, this concludes my first post. I’ll share something soon about some things I’ve watched and done recently.

Too Fat to Burn in Hell

Posted: April 16, 2012 in Uncategorized

I’ve watched both of these over the past couple of days. Here are my thoughts on both.

Kevin Smith: Burn in Hell

I went into this one not knowing anything about it. I didn’t even know it existed until I randomly found it on the web. I’m a big fan of Kevin Smith and nearly all of his movies, comics, books, etc. I have to say I enjoyed this a lot! I think the Q&A sessions he does is an awesome way to interact with fans that you don’t see many celebrities willing to do. He talks about everything from comics that he wrote to the Phelps family.

 – My favorite part of this was his story about the WBC and the Phelps family protesting his screenings and Q&A sessions for his movie ‘Red State’ (which is great by the way).

If you haven’t seen this you need to find a copy and go watch it.

Kevin Smith: Too Fat for 40

I had heard about this through several friends and wanted to watch immediately after they told me about it. This is every bit as funny and interesting as the previously mentioned special. I really liked hearing how he made some of his movies, and the intimate details of his life. It’s nice to see the passion in Kevin’s face when he talks about his work. You can really tell he truly loves what he is doing and what he has done in his life. Very good special to watch and I highly recommend you give it a shot.

I hope one day I can be able to look back and be truly proud and passionate about the things that I’ve done and will do in my life.
